With two decades of customer service under her belt, Albion-native Cassy Strunk was ready to take on her next career as a member services representative at Noble REMC.
“It’s the same community, just serving them in a different way,” said Strunk.
She previously worked at Kroger, at different area locations, where she made her way up the ranks to store manager. Though she learned a wide range of skills, she was looking to maintain a better work-life balance, and that’s what she found at Noble REMC.
To her, what’s most important is going the extra mile for our members (some of whom were her former customers). Being raised in Albion, moving away and then moving back, she sees what makes our area so special.
“I love being close to home. I love the small community,” said Strunk. “I want to continue to build relationships with our members and help them in any way possible. They’ve got a lot going on in their lives; the last thing they need is a hurdle when it comes to their utility bill.”
In her spare time, she’s preparing for her son, Aaron, to graduate high school in the spring and crafting works of art out of her garage. Her most recent project? Building benches out of old wooden bed frames.
We’re happy to have you here at the co-op, Cassy!
