Welcome to the co-op, Cassidy!

Her career may be in its beginning stages, but Cassidy Oliver is already working hard to make her dreams a reality.

An Albion native, Oliver was hired in January to be our newest member services representative, serving as our members’ first interaction when they call in or visit our office.

She previously worked in the local construction industry and became a certified medical assistant in December, all while attending Ivy Tech Community College, where she’s in the process of earning her general studies associate’s degree.

Oh, and on top of that? She continues to work as a waitress on the weekends, which is what originally opened her eyes to customer service and prompted her to apply at the co-op.

“I enjoy talking with people and getting to help them,” Oliver said. “The REMC seemed like a nice place to make a career and give me room to learn and grow.”

She’s enjoyed getting to know our members and learning how much the co-op does to help others when we can.

When she’s not at the cooperative, Oliver spends time with her fiancé, Blake, and their dogs, while also finding joy in gardening, crafting and reading.
