Rounding up takes more than luck

Children working on schoolwork

Noble REMC members proved once again that generosity — not luck — is what truly makes the difference.

Thanks to those who give to our Operation Round Up program, eight local nonprofit organizations received nearly $15,000 in first-quarter grants to support meaningful projects across our community.

More than 91% of members participate in Operation Round Up, allowing us to turn small monthly contributions into major community impact. From education and recreation to food assistance and youth services, the pennies collected from your rounded-up bill touch nearly every corner of our service area.

The first quarter distribution of the Operation Round Up Trust Fund included:

Central Noble Canstruction – $2,000 for canned foods and supplies

Central Noble Elementary School – $1,092 for a fifth-grade educational field trip

Judy A. Morrill Recreation Center – $1,500 for programming equipment and materials

Junior Achievement (DeKalb and Noble counties) – $2,500 for in school educational programming

Helping Hands of Orange Township – $1,500 for food assistance

Lighthouse Childcare & Learning Service – $2,500 for food and supplies

Town of Corunna – $2,500 for playground equipment

We extend a heartfelt thank you to every member who chooses to round up their bill each month. Your generosity makes these opportunities possible and strengthens the quality of life for our entire community.
