Fun for the youngest among us

Boy on obstacles course, Art Contest winner, Youth Tour at WWII Memorial

What are your kids up to this summer? Noble REMC sponsors multiple opportunities for a variety of youth. All they need to do is find what appeals to them and apply!

CAMP KILOWATT, JUNE 4-7
Camp Kilowatt is a fun and unique camp experience for students entering seventh grade in the fall. The camp gives kids a chance to learn about energy while making new friends and enjoying traditional camp activities and games. This three-day camp includes horseback riding, electric cooperative education, rock climbing, swimming, zip lining and more.

INDIANA YOUTH TOUR, JUNE 15-22
During summer break, Noble REMC sponsors an unforgettable educational adventure to Washington, D.C., for high school seniors-to-be. This weeklong trip includes visits to some of our capitol’s most well-known monuments and memorials and the making of lifelong friendships, as well as interactions with local members of Congress.

$1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS
Noble REMC believes in the future of our area’s youth and all they will accomplish. That’s why each year, Noble REMC awards three $1,000 scholarships to help local high school seniors, whose primary residence is on our lines, further their education at an accredited college or trade school.

CALENDAR OF STUDENT ART CONTEST
The Cooperative Calendar of Student Art Contest is like no other student exhibition because the winning works are published in a wall calendar, which is seen by thousands of electric co-op members across the state. The contest is open to kindergarten through 12th-grade students in Indiana, with a winner chosen and awarded a cash prize in each grade level. The deadline to apply for 2026’s calendar is Feb. 28.

HOW DO YOU APPLY FOR THESE OPPORTUNITIES?
