INDIANA YOUTH TOUR TO D.C.
The Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., is a unique chance for students to experience firsthand how government operates, explore iconic historical landmarks, and connect with peers from across the country. It's an immersive, educational experience that brings classroom lessons to life in real-world settings.
The trip is June 14-21. The deadline to apply is Feb. 13.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Noble REMC awards three $1,000 scholarships annually to help area students further their education at an accredited college or trade school of their choice. Candidates are judged anonymously based on a short autobiography, as well as their involvement at school and in the community.
The deadline to apply is Feb. 27.
COOPERATIVE STUDENT ART CONTEST
Indiana's electric cooperatives and our statewide magazine, Indiana Connection, invite Indiana K-12 students to enter the Cooperative Student Art Contest. A first-place artist will be selected for each grade, K-12, and will receive $100. Additional artists will earn honorable mention awards and will receive $50. The artwork will be judged on artistic merit, originality, and creativity.
The deadline to submit artwork is Feb. 27.
CAMP KILOWATT
Sixth-grade students (entering seventh grade in fall 2026) can sign up for high-voltage fun taking place in July. Campers will learn about electricity; try cool camp activities, such as canoeing, rock climbing, and archery; and of course, have the opportunity to make new friends!
Applications will open Jan. 24, and the deadline to apply is May 1.
