Your pennies make a difference

Noble REMC’s Operation Round Up grant program kicked the year off with a bang, awarding more than $10,500 to eight deserving projects in our community.
It wouldn’t be possible without our generous members, who help us in our mission to give back to the community through this program.
With more than 91% of our members participating, the pennies donated by rounding up your bill each month are making a big impact. These contributions reach every part of our community, from school programs to historical societies and beyond.
The first quarter distribution of the Operation Round Up Trust Fund included:
Central Noble Canstruction, $2,000, canned foods
Country Meadow Elementary Fourth Grade Class, $900, Indiana history field trip
Junior Achievement, serving East Central DeKalb County and Garrett, $1,000, BizTown project
Junior Achievement, serving Noble County, $1,500, Finance Park project
Allen County – Fort Wayne Historical Society, $1,000, school group program
Judy A. Morrill Recreation Center, $1,500, early education classroom materials
Stone’s Trace Historical Society, $1,500, building materials
East Noble Middle School, $1,250, seventh grade field trip
Thank you again to those members who choose to participate in the program and contribute to improving the quality of life in our area. None of this would be possible without your generosity.
For local nonprofit organizations who are seeking funding for a project, please fill out and return an application to the Noble REMC office by April 1 to be considered for the next round of Operation Round Up disbursements. Applications can be downloaded from nobleremc.com/operation-round-up.
