Touchstone Energy Camp

Current sixth graders can jump start their summer in June by signing up for high-voltage fun at the Indiana Touchstone Energy® Camp.

To accomplish this, a wide variety of activities have been designed to enhance this summer camp opportunity and create a memorable educational experience. Students will be able to enhance their learning experience through a fun and powerful program. (see brochure)

The three-and-a-half day long camp, in June, will be held at Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center just north of Lafayette in Brookston. Camp Tecumseh, located on Richard G. Marsh Lake, offers a range of recreational activities including rock climbing, swimming and canoeing. It also includes team building exercises that challenge students and enhance communication skills.

A variety of exciting activities awaits boys and girls at the Touchstone Energy Camp including: Environmental Education, Touchstone Energy® Brand, Co-op Distribution, Electrification, Electrical Safety, Optimist Challenge, Horseback Riding, Swimming, Wall Climbing, Archery, Canoeing and Arts & Crafts.

So don’t be left in the dark, energize your summer by going to the Touchstone Energy Camp sponsored by Indiana’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives/REMC’s (like Noble REMC); Indiana's Electric Cooperatives (the service association of Indiana’s REMC’s); and cooperative power suppliers, Hoosier Energy REC and Wabash Valley Power Association.

Students (current 6th Graders only) will be chosen based on their application and very short essay.
