Supporting Quality of Life

A Noble REMC employee helps hang town Christmas decorations annually. Noble REMC has been lauded for its support of communities in our service territory. From schools to charities, Noble REMC employees have been hands on in improving the quality of life for our neighbors and friends. We feel it is part of our corporate responsibility to have a positive impact for our area.

This effort is anchored by our philanthropic program Operation Round Up®. Most of our members allow us to round up the cents on their bill which is placed in a trust fund for distribution projects deemed worthy by the volunteer grant board. Since 2002, Noble REMC members have donated over $220,000 in the service territory. (See the Operation Round Up® section of our web site for more information).

We believe in investing in our youth via Junior Achievement and in school programs like Reality Store and Get-A-Life. We've sent many high school students to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. A Touchstone Energy Camp for sixth graders in western Indiana has become popular with sixth graders interested in spreading their wings and learning about energy and safety.

One of the Touchstone Energy values is Commitment to Community. We take it seriously.

Noble REMC supports many community efforts and projects.
